Jan. 26--Maple Sugaring and other spring programs are being offered for teachers and their students at the Jennings Environmental Education Center. Registration for the programs begins Feb. 1. The Maple Sugaring program unravels the mystery of how a tree works and demonstrates the art of sugaring from its early Native American beginnings to modern day techniques. Programs will be offered for grades one-six from March 22-25 at 10 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 2 p.m. Each program lasts 90 minutes.
Jennings also offers a variety of hands-on environmental education programs.
